The September issue of Vogue magazine weighed nearly five pounds and was the single largest issue of a magazine ever published. Documenting the eight months in the lead up to publication and with unprecedented access. The September Issue examines eight months in the lives of the legendary Vogue Editor In Chief, Anna Wintour and her larger than life team of editors. Wintour, who is a fashion legend in her own right, is greatly revered and feared throughout the world of fashion and was the inspiration for Merryl Streep's character in The Devil Wears Prada. The September Issue won the Grand Jury prize for Excellence in Cinematography at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
