Champagne House just announced - Comte Audoin de Dampierre
For more than 700 years, the Dampierre family has been associated with the Champagne region in France. As early as 1300, the jurisdiction of Guy de Dampierre, who was Count of Flanders and governor of Champagne, stretched from Bruges to Reims. Today the Dampierre Champagnes have reached cult status amongst the bubbly cognoscenti; the Dampierre name being regularly associated with the world’s most exclusive restaurants, as well as French presidential, ministerial and ambassadorial residences.
“The quality of Count de Dampierre's champagnes is superb, their pure and vibrant taste the result of an expert blend of wines made only from grands crus chardonnay and pinot noir grapes,” said Bernadette.
The Count, one of the most charismatic people in all of Champagne, oversees every aspect of production and is passionate about his craft…. as well as Aston Martin cars, in fact he usually poses in front of his house with his private collection of sports cars and a glass of champagne in his hand!”
We will be featuring four superb champagnes
- Dampierre Brut Ambassadeurs
- Dampierre Blanc de Blancs Ambassadeurs
- Dampierre Family Reserve Vintage 2002
- Dampierre Prestige Grand Cru 1998
- Dampierre Grand Vintage 2002
